On April 3, 2023, peacefully, at Radius St. Helanas, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Barry. Much loved mother of Geoffrey, and the late Belinda. FRANCIS, Donald Leroy (Don)

Don passed away at his home on Waiheke Island on Saturday 25th March 2023, aged 87, after a long battle with Parkinson’s. A former partner with Deloitte Wellington, Don was the dearly loved and greatly missed father of Sarah, loving husband of Janet (deceased), and much loved grandfather of Jessica and Katie Crerar, and father-in-law of Dave Crerar. In keeping with Don’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.

Passed away on March 26, 2023 in Nelson, aged 83. Dearly loved husband of the late Ann Marie, adored father and father-in-law of Jeffrey and Sophie, Christine and Glen, Peter and Rachel, and the late Linda; treasured granddad of Clayton, Sean and Lana, Alex and Lance, Antony, Samantha, Joseph and Isabel, Alex and Lydia, Ryan, Ellen and Rory. Loving Great-Granddad to his
14 great-grandchildren. In accordance with Ron’s wishes a private cremation has been held. Special thanks to the staff at Nelson Hospital who cared for Dad.

Treasured Taua and Taua-in-law of Carl, Damien (deceased), Danny (deceased), Peri, Amy and Clint, Bayley and Brandon, Laken, and Dan. Adored great-nana to many. IRVINE, Rodney James

Passed in his 90th year on the evening of Friday, March 31, 2023, with his adoring wife Pamela at his side, concluding 67 years of marriage. Rodney was the devoted father of Karen, Julie and the late Donald, and dutiful father-in-law of Paul Anink, Paul Brown and Lyndal Irvine. Following a private family mass and interment, a joyful celebration of Claire’s life will be held at the Riversdale Community Centre, Newcastle Street, on Wednesday, April 12, at 2.00pm.
