It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy. A dearly loved daughter of May and Peter MacDonald (deceased). A beloved wife of the late Stanley Harding loved companion to “Cocoa”, and a very dearly loved Aunty to all her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A service to celebrate Lucy’s amazing life will be held at the Riverton RSA at 11.00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, followed by a get-together for light refreshments at the Lodge, Riverton.

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 14 April 2023, surrounded by her whanau after a long battle with Lymphoma. We will be taking Nan to Hongoeka Marae at 9.00am on Saturday 15 April and there will be a church service held for her at 7.00pm. Early Sunday morning, Nan will then return home to Te Araroa where she will lay at Tutua Marae, Waione Road, Te Araroa. A funeral service will be held at 10.00am on Tuesday 18 April. Burial will then take place at Tutua where she will lay with her Nan. Dearly loved Wife of the Late Stanton Mackey. Dearly loved Mum of Brian and Jenny Ngarimu, Edward (Ted), Eru (William), the late Eugene, Moana (Mo) and Kelly, Manihera Morete and Hiria, and Margo Sollitt. On April 11, 2023, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital with family by her side, aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of Peter, in their 60th year of marriage. Died peacefully at Nazareth House on April 14, 2023, aged 82 years. Much loved husband of Kaye. Cherished Father and father-in-law of Simon and Dee, Jane and Rob, Gerard and Melissa, Amanda and James. Much loved “Grandin” of his treasured and so adored Grandchildren Anna, Beth, Patrick, Joseph, Luca and Cristian. Passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023, aged 66, at Nurse Maude Hospice. Private Cremation. He leaves behind his son Troy, daughter Zoe, son-in-law Tim, former wife Wendy, and grandchildren Ruby-Grace and Oskar Gray. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Nurse Maude Hospice, especially Jill for your quick response and ongoing care, and good friends Holly and Meri for all their help walking Ted and continuous support.

On Wednesday 12th April 2023, aged 84 years, peacefully at Hilda Ross Retirement Village surrounded by his loving whanau. Dearly loved husband of Mary (dec), and devoted father of Michelle, Nichalla, Stephen and Charlote Anne. Doting Koko to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A fighter to the very end.
Charles will lie in state at Hui Te Rangiora Marae, 89 Clarence St, Hamilton. A final funeral service will take place on Saturday 15th April 2023 at 11.00am, to be followed by an interment at Hamilton Park Cemetery, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, Hamilton, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Mary.
