Based in Invercargill, new students to Wu Chi Tao Martial Arts start their training by learning the art of Wu Hsing which is the first of eight martial arts taught within the school - classically called the ‘eight ultimates’, or Pa-Chi in Chinese. Wu Hsing is based on the movements of the 5 ancient animals, which are the bird, tiger, monkey, bear and deer.
