We are an artist led and run community art organization with a passion for creating and exhibiting art, both for enjoyment and for those who would like to take a more professional approach. Our committee is made up of long-time artists who have been involved with the arts community for decades, either as practising artists themselves, or as members of various art organisations. Our members are made up of artists with various styles, techniques and experience - from young and emerging artists all the way through to well established and experienced artists. Our community loves to come together to share knowledge and build each other up, showing support for each other's art practices and passions. Waitākere Arts is located right next to the Gallery, Shop and Main Office at Corban Estate Arts Centre, Henderson, Auckland.
