Kaiwaka Cares is a group born out of the Kaiwaka Can initiative. Kaiwaka Can is a community group working to Maintain, Grow, Entertain, Care for the people and town of Kaiwaka.
Kaiwaka Cares is working on projects to encourage communication within the diverse groups within Kaiwaka. Projects to date include restarting the community garden and opening a community drop-in social space.
