Vacant section set up as a community garden as part of "Greening the Rubble". Raised vegetable garden plots installed but then abandoned. I weeded four of the plots and planted new and main crop potatoes which are now being harvested. My actions have stimulated action by other individuals who have weeded and planted out seedling plants in the other raised vegetable growing beds. Many people have taken an interest in this community garden and have come in to "see whats growing". A couple even come in regularly to mow the grass between the beds. There is room for more raised garden beds to be installed but I have no idea on how to go about getting the materials for, or how to build the wooden frames to "enclose" each garden bed. Also, where to get good quality soil and compost to fill these raised beds.Can you help?
