The largest Hindu temple to be built in the South Island for the largest Ganesha in the southern hemisphere.
Lord Anbu Vinayagar (Main Deity of the temple) was originally made in Indian and shipped to NZ. The idol was made from single mountain rock . The idol weighs 3500 kgs and measure more than 1.5m in height. This Idol was the first Hindu God to be consecrated in the South Island. Our Devotees have experienced magical experiences and blessings from Ganesha already.
