Community service organisation that has been looking after the interests of Castor Bay people since 1938. Annual membership $10 per household. Committee elected annually at AGM in November. Newsletters distributed by email and by hand for members without email. Committee meets first Wednesday evening each month at Kennedy Park building - all members welcome. Committee liaises with members of Auckland Council's Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and with Council officials. The Association holds various functions including 'Meet the Candidates' evenings prior to national and local body elections, a display in Heritage Week and a band concert at the beach as a 'Meet Your Neighbours' opportunity each February. These are advertised by flyers delivered throughout Castor Bay.
