The Blockhouse Bay Community Centre is owned by Auckland Council but operated by the Community by a voluntary Governance Committee. The Community Centre has a strong standing in Blockhouse Bay and is used for a wide variety of regular classes as well as one off events and celebrations. The Centre is proud to offer a place of meeting for local people to use and its doors are always open to new events, activities or groups wishing to start up in the Bay.
