Based on the MENS shed ideas ,this SHED is open to ALL people. Our 400 sq m SHED is divided into WOODWORK / METAL WORK/COMPUTER and 3d modelling sections. The WOODWORK section is fully set up with a wide range of equipment,drop saw,band saw,sanding machines,drill press ,router table,plunge router,jig saws,hand sanders ,biscuit joiner,battery powered tools,modelling area,clamps,dust extractors.Woodwork benches,large range of screws ,nails ,bolts.Every thing needed to complete hobby projects ,or work on community projects. The SHED is a Not for Profit registered charity,where people gather to have fun,make hobby items,chat ,have a cuppa. PARKING ; by the old bowling greens. FINN class yacht : shortly we will start on refurbishing a kauri skin Finn class yacht.Materials will be supplied ,and the opportunity to learn small boat construction skills will be lead by our experienced boat builder with 40 years knowledge.
