This is a peer-support organisation for "Aspies" (folk who have Asperger Syndrome). This is a group who don't attract any government support but very much need it. The latest figures on the incidence of Autism/Asperger Syndrome is about 1 in 68 but the government refuses to collect data to indicate the size of the problem. The best experts are those who are themselves on the autism spectrum. We offer information, advocacy, counselling, social work services and advice on education and employment. We have an office which is open two days a week at the Cashmere Presbyterian Church, and we also run two evening social events each month for aspies to meet each other and enjoy each other's company without fear of criticism or bullying.

We are a voluntary non-profit Charitable Trust and do not make ability to pay a condition of our help. All donations are gratefully received so that we can keep our office running and our services available. We have a specialist library which we try to keep up to date with all the wonderful books explaining life on the Autism Spectrum to ourselves and others.

Life as an aspie can be difficult and frustrating but can also be amazing and wonderful! Let us help you to understand how to manage your life as an aspie so that you can fulfil your potential!
