Working together so that older people can live successfully and maximise quality of life. We empower groups and individuals over 60 years by - Provide personal contact for older people needing assistance. -Advocacy for vulnerable older people. -Coordination of Elder Abuse and Neglect Prevention, including educating professionals and consumer awareness. -Accredited Visiting Service with 180 volunteers visiting lonely people. -Health Promotion/Injury Prevention -seminars held on a variety of issues. Age Concern North Shore have been operating successfully for nearly fifty years. Each year we respond to over 30,000 enquiries for information and resources. Membership base of 1600. Staff 12. Volunteers 250.
