Kia ora everyone,

With Christmas fast approaching I am wanting to ask the neighbours if anyone knows of an organisation who is helping feeding people who are financially struggling this Christmas?

I would like my family and I to volunteer on Christmas day and help bring food and/or cook warm meals. I know other cities have life mission and churches that will put on a lunch for those who don't have anywhere to go for Christmas and who are struggling. Can anyone identify if Palmerston North have one too? Or Feilding? We would love to help on Christmas day 💚

Ngaa manaakitanga,
Barbara

Time for last-minute gift-getting as events on the Look Out! Performing Arts, Events and Entertainment Guide wind down for the year. There are still a few community carol evenings for those who want to keep the festive traditions alive, while there is a live gig from Hawaiian-based musicians, Lola & Friends do Christmas burlesque, and there’s an opportunity for Gilbert & Sullivan. Have a joyeux Noel.
