Calling all volunteers!
Hi there everyone!
My name is Jay, and I wanted to pop on here and share my volunteering journey with Red Cross so far.
In August of this year I joined the team at Red Cross Morrinsville. With the assistance of Eileen and her lovely team of volunteers I was made to feel at home right away. The transition from being a full time single mum to entering the workforce again was an easy one.
I feel as though working with the team in Morrinsville has given me a purpose, and it feels great to know I am helping out a deserving cause.
I urge anyone in the community who is thinking about volunteering, to do it!
