AUDITION CALL for Love Letters by A R Gurney

Rachel Norman from Limelight Theatre Company

Auditions to be held at the Carterton Courthouse, Holloway Street on Tuesday 17th December at 7.30pm. First time and well seasoned actors are equally welcome.

For those thespians with too little time to learn lines and attend rehearsals several times a week, we think that “Love Letters” by A R Gurney is the ideal type of play – no lines to learn and very few rehearsals. We will require one male and one female aged from mid-40s upwards, who can display excellent timing and characterisation and be versatile enough to make swift changes in vocal and facial expression.

There will be 6 or 7 performances over the 2 weeks 8 – 22 March 2020. If you are interested but are unable to make the auditions please contact Margaret Jesson: info@limelight.org.nz

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
