Will you still walk the hills and take the risk, or will you take fire danger seriously?
Earlier in the week, the Mountain Bike Park and all of the Wither Hills Farm Park, except for the lower tracks, were closed due to a high fire risk.
The fire danger has now reached the ‘Extreme’ level, and residents are being urged not to enter the closed areas and use only the Lower Farm Track, Mapp Track, the town boundary or Taylor River Reserve tracks.
Will you adhere to the advice, or will you disregard closure signs and walk the hills anyway?
Do you think the closures are unnecessary?
What alternative walks will you take?

Poll: Would you use a Picton-Blenheim Saturday bus?
The Marlborough District Council plans to trial a Saturday bus between Picton and Blenheim, in response to feedback from Picton residents wanting to visit the new Blenheim library. It would leave Waikawa Bay at 9am and 1pm, and Blenheim's Seymour St at 10.10am and 2pm.
