PHILLIPS, Eileen May (nee Spittal)

Peacefully and with dignity at Nelson Hospital on Sunday, December 5, 2021; in her 88th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Terry. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl, Bill and Mary, and Lynda. Loved grandma of Robert, Belinda, Katrena, and Kylee; Emma, Lara, Jesse, and Ethan. Great-grandma of her 11 great-grandchildren, daughter of the late Grace (nee Tyree) and Gab Spittal, and long-term family friend of Teal.

Mum fought a great fight
and is now resting peacefully with Dad.
A service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at Hope Garden of Remembrance Chapel, 95 Clover Road East, Hope, Nelson, on Saturday, December 11 at 2.00pm. Due to the current traffic light restrictions in place, the service will be based on the unvaccinated requirements at the families request with a limit of 50 people.
