Fantastic News! Cholmondeley Children's Centre is one of five extremely worthy finalists in the organisation category of the 2018 AMI Community Grants. And we are the only South Island charity in this category! Last year we provided 1403 admissions to 519 children from Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. This is the highest number of children in our 93-year history, and the demand for our service continues to grow. Christmas Cottage open home..
Hello all you Christmas lovers out there!
This annual event is not to be missed!
Our Beckenham cottage has been decorated tip to toe in the spirit of Christmas.
All funds raised go to the children’s charity “Good night sleep tight”.
Just $5.00 for adults, children are free.
We are open this weekend Sat 7th and Sun 8th from 10am - 4pm.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
