Creative Keyboard Club - monthly meeting
This Sunday afternoon at 2.00pm the Browns Bay Creative Keyboard Club meets at the East Coast Bays Family Centre, 45 Anzac Road (behind St. Cuthberts Church). The first half has Club members playing either their keyboard or the Clavinova piano, then there is a tea break and the second half has either senior Club members or a guest artist playing - this Sunday we have Rob and Barbara Powell playing together on the keyboard and the piano - they both have been playing for many years. Do come along and enjoy the music and friendship - new members are always welcome. The fee is $8.00 for visitors and members $5.00. There is a raffle ($2.00 a ticket) and you will be welcomed at the desk by Philippa.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
