Former Auckland mayoral candidate John Palino wants to be a NZ MP - even though he lives in Florida
Hi neighbours, Former Auckland mayoral candidate John Palino is standing in the 2020 general election, despite living more than 12,900km away in the US. The American-born businessman, who moved to New Zealand 25 years ago, has announced his candidacy for one of New Zealand’s newest political parties, the Taxpayers and Entrepreneurs Alliance (TEA) Party. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
